In layman's terms - someone or something that is authentic
The word "genuine" means something that is authentic, true, or sincere. It refers to things that are not counterfeit, fake, or artificial, and instead are characterized by their honesty, transparency, and authenticity. Genuine people, for example, are those who are honest, straightforward, and true to themselves and others. Genuine products, on the other hand, are those that are made with real materials and are not cheap imitations or knockoffs.
