If you are looking to attach a prepaid debit card to your Cash App account, unfortunately it isn't possible. However, there is a card that works like a prepaid card that you can add to Cash App.
We've attempted to add many prepaid cards to a Cash app account but unfortunately the company doesn't seem to allow prepaid cards. In the past when a website says "no prepaid cards are allowed" or something similar, Green Dot prepaid card can usually bypass some of these annoying notices. We cant say for sure why that is, but its usually the case. However, we've tried Green Dot prepaid card and it cannot be added to Cash app as well. If we find a prepaid card that works with Cash app we will let you know.
Cash App Order A Card
Even though you cannot add a reloadable card to Cash App platform, Cash App allows you to order a card. As soon as you download Cash App from Google Play or iTunes you will be asked to create an account using your email or phone number. You will then be asked to create a username & link a bank debit card (you can skip this section). You will also be asked for permission to allow the app to access your phone's contacts.
Cash App Account & Routing #
As you can see from the image above, Cash App has already provided the new user with their own Account number & Routing number. If you click on the Account or Routing number a Pop up will display a "Order Cash Card" notification which will allow you to spend any cash in your balance (new users balance will likely by empty).
